Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Jacqueline's father Elroy is a Sri Lankan (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother, Kim, a Malaysian. She has two brothers and an older sister. Her parents moved to Bahrain in the late 1980s as a result of the Lankan tensions and she was raised in Bahrain. After graduating from the schooling in Bahrain she was awarded an Scholarship at the University of Sydney to pursue an Media and Communications Degree in Sydney, Australia. A lover of cultures and different languages, she enrolled in Berlitz Language School in which she learned Spanish and improved her French as well as Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 was crown in March 2006; she also participated in Miss Universe 2006 In 2006, she took home her the Miss Sri Lanka title. After that, she went on television as a host of the show about Sri Lankan businesses known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone was the daughter and badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew as a child in Bangalore and came from Copenhagen. As a teenager, Padukone competed in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international and international levels. But, she resigned from the game to pursue a career as a fashion designer. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her native language is Konkani. Padukone is located in Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international badminton player who now retired. Her mom is a traveling agent.
